Michael O'Reilly

Michael O'Reilly is currently vice chairman and chief financial officer of The Chubb Corporation.  Mr. O'Reilly joined Chubb in 1969 as a securities analyst in the investment department where he has held various positions of responsibility until he assumed the position of chief investment officer in 1986. He assumed the position of interim chief financial officer in October 2002 and was elected vice chairman in December 2002. Mr. O'Reilly was named to his current position in September 2003.

Mr. O'Reilly graduated from New York University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He also received a MBA from Pace University. Mr. O'Reilly served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1967 (active duty) and in the Army Reserves from 1968 to 1971, retiring with the rank of Captain.
